INNOVATION IN AMPHORAS: TRADITION AND COURAGE IN THE HEART OF VALSUGANA
The De Fattore winery, led by young brothers Alessio and Simone, is a small company redefining winemaking in Valsugana. With courage and innovation, they produce authentic wines vinified in terracotta amphoras, blending tradition with modern techniques. In addition to cultivating classic varieties like Chardonnay, they experiment with ancient and resilient varieties, focusing also on reviving the rare Pavana grape. Their ambition is to create benchmark wines, including a Brut Nature sparkling wine made using the traditional method, the first in Trentino to be vinified in amphoras.
